The theory of intelligent design?

there is no proof for god, and yet people insist it is true, if its not a fact it must be a theory, there for from now on i will call it the theory of intelligent design, do you think this is fair?(also, i know what a theory is, this is satire, although to christians and other religious people i will refer to it as such)
