Which book should I read?

I recently got done reading "American Psycho" by Bret Easton Ellis and I am not sure which book to read next. I have narrowed it down to three books: On the Road by Jack Kerouac, Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, and Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris. Generally speaking, I enjoy social satires and black humour books the most. Kurt Vonnegut is my favourite author but I want to become more cultured or intelligent so I'm diverging to other genres and authors. Thank you for your help.
