Why are people so scared to answer questions that don't put Obama in a perfect light ?

I put a question on last night suggesting Obama's birthcertificate fiasco was dodgy, no swearwords, nothing personal and no one answered. This morning it was removed. In england, criticising politicians is the norm. It is called satire. If people are scared to criticise their leaders, they will get away with anything. Is this what is happening in america? Do people need to lighten up a bit?
