Truth about Mane n Tail shampoo and conditioner?

There are SO MANY people with mixed opinions and reviews about the Mane n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner. People do say that its SPECIFICALLY for horses, but on the Mane n Tail website, and on the back of the bottles, it does clearly state "human use". I noticed it also says "animal use", but its not JUST for animals. Some people say it makes their hair longer and shinier, other people say it makes their hair thin and fall out. Now I read reviews that are 1-2 years old, so I don't know if they "improved" their shampoo and conditioner to better meet the complaints over time. I have curly hair that can get dry easily but when I used the shampoo and conditioner it made my hair feel ALOT better than it usually does. Not that dry, brittle feeling, but it made it feel like a smooth texture. My hair still frizzed when it dried, but I put some coconut product in and that's all taken care of. So basically, does anyone know if the hair loss, itchy scalp, etc problems have been fixed?? I like the way it makes my hair feel, but I dont want to experience those things. For anyone who's RECENTLY tried it, did you find any problems with it??
