Apartment help (possibly low income)?

Well, im a part time student working 2 jobs just trying to survive. Ive been on my own since I was 16 and im going through a rough patch in my life. Im currently inbetween housing. Im trying to find an affordable 1 bedroom apartment but there all over 700 a month and my budget only allows 500... Do you know of any housing programs for students that there might be out there? Also I already talked to my school and all of that jazz, they basically said that I was on my own. Also, do you know if im disqualified for low income housing because im a part time student? Im doing the best I can, and its not like Im just some teen trying find a cheapo apartment to get out of my moms house. In a couple of weeks, ill be on the street.
